Job Summary:
We are seeking a talented WordPress Developer and IT Professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining WordPress websites, managing IT infrastructure, and providing technical support to our team. This role requires a strong understanding of WordPress development, IT systems, and excellent problem-solving skills.
Experience – 2-4 Years
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain WordPress websites, including theme customization, plugin development, and optimization for performance and SEO.
- Collaborate with designers and content creators to implement website features and functionality according to project requirements.
- Ensure WordPress websites are secure, up-to-date, and compliant with best practices in web development and security.
- Manage IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and software systems, to ensure reliability and efficiency.
- Troubleshoot technical issues related to WordPress websites, server infrastructure, and other IT systems.
- Implement and maintain backup and disaster recovery plans for WordPress websites and IT systems.
- Monitor website performance, uptime, and security, and implement solutions to address any issues.
- Provide technical support and training to team members on WordPress usage and IT systems.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in web development and IT to continuously improve our websites and systems.
- Assist with other IT-related tasks and projects as needed.
Good to have:
- A strong knowledge in multiple WordPress themes and plugins and their functions.
- Knowledge in visual builders like Elementor, Visual Composer, DIVI builder etc.
- Database Management, Basic DevOps Knowledge and the ability to develop basic WordPress plugins
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
- Proven experience as a WordPress Developer with strong knowledge of WordPress architecture, themes, and plugins.
- Proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX and MySQL.
- Experience with responsive design techniques and cross-browser compatibility.
- Familiarity with website optimization techniques for performance and SEO.
- Solid understanding of IT systems, including servers, networks, and security protocols.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively under pressure.
- Experience with IT infrastructure management tools and platforms is a plus.
